It is revealed that British American Tobacco Bangladesh is building a bonded warehouse for storing packaging materials, leaves, and finished products. The company has also invested in the construction of electrical, fire detection and protection systems, air conditioning and ventilation systems, IT systems and safety systems, as well as on-site ancillary facilities for employee welfare and factory services, reinforced cement concrete road construction, and the establishment of underground drainage systems. Earlier this year, the company invested in the Savar factory to establish emergency capabilities and take advantage of upcoming export opportunities. The headquarters of British American Tobacco Bangladesh is located in Dhaka, with cigarette factories in Dhaka and Savar, a green leaf threshing plant in Kushtia, and a green leaf re drying plant in Manik Ganj.
