Hunan cracked a major illegal production and sale of electronic cigarettes, with a total of 10W poles and 25W bullets, involving over 4000W

According to a report by CCTV on September 26th, on the morning of September 26th, the Xinning County Public Security Bureau in Hunan Province announced that the bureau, in collaboration with the Xinning County Tobacco Monopoly Bureau, successfully cracked a case of illegal production and sale of electronic cigarettes, destroyed four manufacturing dens, and arrested 21 individuals involved, with a total amount of over 40 million yuan. It is reported that this is the first typical case in Hunan Province where the integrated research, production, supply and marketing illegal production of e-cigarettes criminal network is completely dismantled.
The special case team, together with Xinning County Tobacco Monopoly Bureau, formed several arrest teams and successively went to Dongguan City, Shenzhen City and other places in Guangdong Province to carry out centralized network capture operations. They captured 21 people including suspect Li, destroyed 12 electronic cigarette dens for production, storage and sales, and seized more than 100000 electronic cigarette sticks, more than 250000 finished cigarette bombs, and more than 300 electronic cigarette related production equipment.
According to the original report, since October 2022, criminal gangs led by Li have illegally produced and sold over 10000 electronic cigarettes, including YFK-BOX, developed by themselves, using multiple electronic factories such as Qingjiangqiao Township in Xinning County and Dongguan City in Guangdong Province as electronic cigarette manufacturing sites and electronic cigarette parts distribution centers in Dongguan, Guangdong Province as electronic cigarette raw materials without obtaining an electronic cigarette production and operation license.
The report mentioned that the gang later counterfeited the trademark and outer packaging of a well-known e-cigarette brand, producing and selling more than 100000 e-cigarettes and 650000 e-cigarette bombs of a certain brand, with a total involved value of over 40 million yuan. According to the identification of the Hunan Tobacco Monopoly Bureau, the electronic cigarettes and cigarette bombs produced by the gang are all fake and inferior products.
21 people including suspect Li have been taken criminal coercive measures by Xinning County Public Security Bureau according to law. At present, the investigation of the case has been concluded and it has been transferred to the Xinning County People's Procuratorate for examination and prosecution in accordance with the law.
